Mike Edwards Motorsports would like to thank these companies, race teams and individuals for there continued support with the "Send a Kid to Camp" project. 	For 2009, Edwards will continue to use drag racing to reach America's youth through a project called "A Team on a Mission." This project was created in 2005 to add a new level of commitment to the "Giving Kids Hope" racing program. As a part of "A Team on a Mission" for every round of competition the Mike Edwards Motorsports team wins during the 24-race NHRA schedule, they will send a kid to Young Life camp. Last year Mike recruited five Pro Stock drivers/owners who turned their winning rounds into a kid sent to camp. Several companies also teamed up with Edwards, lending their financial support.

The success of "A Team on a Mission" is seen in the number of young people who have already attended Young Life camp. During the 2008 NHRA Powerade racing season, Edwards along with his racing colleagues and companies were able to send 140 kids to Young Life camp. Mike said, "I have had some companies express and interest in our "A Team on a Mission" project, and I am beleiving that we can double that number by the close of the 2009 season." The continued success of this program largely depends on the generosity of individuals and companies like yours that want to make a difference in the lives of young people in our country.
